PROSTHODONTICS The complex is divided in to the UG and PG sections with separate lab facilities for both. The modern hi-tech laboratory comes with a complete armamentarium of all types of modern prosthetic work which includes ceramic furnaces, induction casting machines, implant kit, All-Ceram kit , milling machines, duplicators, die cutting Pindex machine, surveyors, semi adjustable articulators etc.
The under graduate training aims at making them proficient in day to day Prosthetic work with an emphasis on removable and fixed partial and full dentures. Post graduate deliberations range from didactic and pedagogic exercises to detailed clinical management techniques to advanced laboratory works.
ACHIEVEMENTS BY THE POST GRADUATES The department has played host to many national and state level workshops, CDEs and seminars and has won laurels too
- 2nd Place in Ist ISPRP National Conference held in Mangalore, August 2008
- Best Paper award in 15th ISOI National Conference held in Cochin, October 2008
- Best Paper award in 13th IPS P.G.convention held in Delhi, February 2009
- Awarded the Best Paper award in IInd ISPRP National Conference held in Cochin, August 2009
