Department of PedodonticsInfants and children are not immune to oral health problems. The Department of Pediatric Dentistry is a state of the art facility designed specifically to meet the oral health needs of children .
This department is divided into under-graduate and post-graduate sections. The undergraduates are trained in providing routine dental treatment for children with special emphasis on child management. The postgraduate training program involves imparting of quality dental education in an exclusive serene working area equipped with digital radiography and state of the art sterilization facilities. The department also provides allied oral health postings in institutions for special children at Madikeri, Suntikoppa & Polibetta . We are also working towards providing better oral health for HIV positive children at Asha Kirana Hospital, Mysore.
