Department of oral pathologyThe department of oral pathology and microbiology is located in one of the prime corners of the institution. It is spread over two levels which includes the U.G. lab, the P.G. lab, and the museum covering a wide range of specimens, it also includes the A.V. room with L.C.D projectors, a contemporary histopathology lab, a microscope section and a well resourced library are all located in the same premises.
The lab has facilities to conduct histopathological investigations of biopsies and cytology and also complete hemograms and R.B.S, blood grouping, H.I.V tridot, and hepatitis B card test.

We are also proud to host the Xth national P.G. convention of IAOMP, on the 16th of June 2010, at Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences, Virajpet, and at Club Mahindra Holiday Resorts, Madikeri.
