We have taken every care to ensure that all the provisions of the Dental Council of India are met.
As per the DCI regulations CIDS has a constructed area of over 100,000 Sq.Ft. Students benefit from a canteen serving both vegetarian & non-vegetarian food , a well stocked library with CD ROM's and Internet facility. A separate audiovisual room has also been provided with audio visual aids like the state of the art LCD projectors.
The Laboratory Block consists of spacious and well furnished laboratories catering to the Medical subjects like Physiology, Biochemistry, General Pathology, Microbiology and Pharmacology. A separate block houses the department of Anatomy. The Departments are headed by Senior Professors. Students are given individual attention and special care is taken to teach them regarding infection control and care of patients during and after treatment.
Patient educational materials are provided in each deartment regarding the latest in the field of dentistry. The institution also upgrades the the equipments as per International Standards.
The Clinical BlockThe Dental Specialties Hospital is housed in a spacious 35,000 Sq feet building with 150 Dental chairs. About 100 patients are treated everyday at this specialty Hospital free of cost. The clinical exposure to our students is thus excellent.
